Wallace, has been appointed manager of the Rugby team to tour Australia this season. The appointment was made at a meeting of the New Zealand Rugbv Union on Wednesday evening. Mr Wal'ace is universally recognised as one of the greatest Rugby footballers the world has ever seen. Hr* was one of the stars of the 1905 All Blacks who made such a name for New Zealand. He was equally good in the position of fullback or threequarter, and critics all over the Rugby world were loud in their praises of his ability.
