Still and motion pictures are being employed in making a permanent pictorial history of Wisconsin (United States). Scenes, customs, resources, and government of the commonwealth are being recorded by the University of Winconsin extension division in co-operation with the Wisconsin State Historical Society and the extension bureau of visual instruction. The plan includes pictorial history of the State as a whole, and also of local communities, from early days to the present. Motion pictures depicting the processes of legislation and the work of several State departments "already have been taken.
