TABLE GOLF

The tiniest thing in miniature golf is a new game for the dining room table, introduced recently in Denver, Colorado (U.S.A.). “Clubs” are thimble like devices that are slipped upon the index finger. They are made in a variety of shapes in imitation of the driver, brassie, mashie, and other clubs of the standard game. With these iny implements the player propels a ball about the size of a small marble, and as hard as a golf ball (says Popular Science). The course is made of soft felt, on which greens, trees, lakes, basins and sand traps are arranged in a skilful effort to give the table course the familiar appearance of the full sized links. The weight and balance of the clubs in re--lation to the ball are of as great importance in this new game as in outdoor golf.
