STANDARDISED CHEESE
CATTLE BREEDERS PROTEST. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Wednesday. At a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Association it was decided to write to the director of the dairy division of the Department of Agriculture, protesting against regulations permitting the manufacture of standardised cheese, as the association was of opinion that standardised cheese with lesser butter fat content will have a powerful effect upon the good name of New Zealand full cream cheese.
