The Te Kawa Cricket Club is arranging a concert and dance to me held on Thursday evening to augment its funds. Te Awamutu talent will be forthcoming, and it is hoped that there will be a large attendance. At the annual meeting of the Ohaupo Croquet Club the following officers were elected:— President, Mrs Stirton; vice - president, Mrs Johnston; secretary and treasurer, Mrs E. J. Edwards; committee, Mesdames C. K. Edwards l , Harrington, Taylor and Duncan. It was decided that the opening day should be on October 20, when it is expected 'that players from several of the other clubs will participate.
