DATE NOT YET'FIXED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Monday. So far the Prime Minister, has not seen fit to announce the date for the general elections. It is, as . well to remember that the writ has to be issued within seven days of the rising of the House. Should _ the division bells ring for the final’ time this year on Saturday next, it would occasion no surprise if the elections were fixed for November i 4. Should the session continue info next week, however, November 22 would possibly be chosen as the date. THE NEW* PLYMOUTH SEAT. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. It is now officialL- announced that Mr W."G.' Simpdon, of Hawera, will contest the New Plymouth seat in the Labour interests.
