HOCKEY
Playing at Paterangi yesterday afternoon the Te Awamutu Ramblers hockey team defeated Paterangi k A by three goals to one, after a fast and clever exhibition. Ramblers registered first score, G. Watson sending one into the net. Then 0. Civil added another. Soon after half- time E. Bell scored for Paterangi, but a few minutes later Civil registered Ramblers' third goal. Despite desperate efforts neither sdde could score again. Messrs C. J. Spiers and T. H. Davis refereed.
