PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES. (By Telegraph — Preao Association) NGARUAWAHIA, Wednesday. ■ In connection with the meeting of the Reform party, to be held here on Monday to select a candidate to carry the party's banner at the general election, considerable iritdrest is being manifested, and it is probable that the organiser (Mr D. Hebenton) will, by Saturday next, the day on which nominations have to reach him, be in possession of a number of names for submission to the meeting. Messrs C. Johnstone (chairman of the Raglan County Council) and W. Seavill (a well-known Waingaro resident) are definitely in the field for the party's nomination, and amongst the other names is that of Mr S. C. B. Macky (chairman of Waipa County Council), while, as usual on such occa- ' sions, there are numerous hints of: " dark horses." j
