STRIKE TALK AT FEILDING. FEI'LDING, Friday. A large meeting of Hie Feilding branch of the WelMngton Freezer’s Union passe)! a resolution agreeing that, in the event of a strike over the men’s de,man'd fesr a ten per cent increase in wages, the conduct of the strike be handed over to the New Zealand Alliance of Labour. It was learned later that the meeting was dominated by the extremists, and that, though (a number of those present were against the proposal, they dlid not press their opinions owing to fear of victimisation. It is understood that many of the local men are prepared to go to work at the existing ra'te, hut are not likely to do so Sn view of the attitude of those controlling the union, wjho state that the Alliance of Labour has promised its help in their demand.
