• A PROFITABLE COMBINATION. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) HASTINGS, Wednesday. Francis Williams Fitzpatrick pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to using his billiard room as a common gaming house. The police stated that defendant s books showed that in the last two years he had, received '£7ooo, but it wa.s only fair to say that a large pai t of that money was from rents and other legitimate sources. It was impossible to s ay what wo.s the legitimate income and what was not Defendant was fined £25.
