The Parawera v. United senior match was practically a chapter of accidents. The game, which so far as spectators could tell was played in. a really friendly football' spirit, had hot been long in progress when United’s crack five-eighths, Alby Johnson, had to retire with a fractured jawbone, the relsult of a collision. He will, consequently, not he playing in,the Waipa rep. team on Saturday to defend the Finlay: 'Cup. Chittenden also- went over to the hospital yesterday to have his wrist X-rayed.
