INCREASE OF SALARY SOUGHT. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The executive of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers' Association, which has been sitting in conference for the past week, waited upon the PostmasteivGeneral yesterday with a request that the maximum salary of the rank and file be increased proportionately with the increased of living. The deputation was composed of delegates from all over New Zealand. Sir James Parr, who was about to leave for Auckland by the afternoon express, intimated that he would give the matter due consideration on his return from Auckland next week.
