CAMBRIDGE V .TE AWAMUTU. Arrangements are being made to play the first inter-club match of the present season on Saturday afternoon next, with Cambridge. It was at first inten'ded to play seven rinks from Cambridge, but so keen has been the de<sire of local bowlers .for an inter-club match with the ardent sportsmen from Cambridge that eight rinks are available, and the Camhridge club has consented to bring over a full complement to meet them. One of the rinks will he first-year players, and the followig have fc'een selected to meet that rink: R. Jones, J. F. Roberts, R. Christie, and W. .Gee (s). The teams in the major games have not yet been definitely selected, hut the following players will take part: IC Bowden, A. Christie, F. B. Bowden, A. A. Reese, S. 'H. Dunkley, G. Smith, R. Metcalfe, W. J. North, R. Fre'W, J. Cocker, M. G. Galloway, C. G. Downes, IC. Bridge A. C. Cruiekshank, A. White, G. 0. Jourdain, W. H. Wood, T. McInnes, R. Ross, W. Butterworth, Carlill, F. C. Blundell, J. lA. Hawkins, T. Grant, and J. B. Wilson. The selectors will classify the players and announce the placings on the green. It is understood that there are several other players available if required. Afternoon tea will again be served lin usual Te Awamutu style, and bowlers' wives are asked to co-operate with the executive in this undertaking.
