CAR CAPSIZED
BURST TYRE CAUSES COLLISION,. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) P AERO A, Monday. A serious accident was- narrowly averted on the main Paeroa-Te Aroha. Road on Saturday evening. A small car, driven by Mr J. Dibble, of Paeroa, and containing two other men, was returning to Paeroa from Te Aroha, when the front tyre, on the driver's side, burst, causing the car to swerve and steering control to be lost. The car careered across the road and came into violent contact with an electrics light pole. The impact caused a complete capsize. The driver and one passenger were thrown clear, but the other man was imprisoned in the hood. All escaped with a bruising and siiock. The car was badly damaged. ■
