EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER APPOINTED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Government appointed Mr W. E. C. Reid, of Dunedin, assistant commissioner for New Zealand at the British Empire Exhibition, and Mr Denys |Hioare, ICh'ristchurchi, secretary and accountant. . The appointment of two information officers is still under consideration by Cabinet.
