OLD-TIME RANGATIRA DIES
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) WHAKATANE, Friday. The death of Mrs Tamate Waaka took place at the Rewatu pa yesterday. A tangi is being held by a very large gathering of natives. The deceased was considered to be one of the last of the old-time rangatiras.
