FATAL ACCIDENT.
SD/lALL BOY MANGLED. DUNEDIN. This Day. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) An inquest has been opened on the child Driver, who died from mangling under a shunting waggon. The police have discovered that three little boys (including Driver) climbed on the end trucks just before a shunt started to pull back over the points. Two of the boys clung to the last truck, but deceased caught on to the second to last truck. The other boys quickly jumped off. They apparently did not know that anything had happened to Driver. The inquest was adjourned.
