PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB MEETING.

The Pakuranga Hunt Club's annual race meeting is being held at Ellerslie to-day. There is steady rain, and the attendance is rather poor. Results:— Maiden Hunters' Steeplechase—Glenotus 1, Fortlet 2, Pavo 3. Scratched: .Esplanade and Never Despair. Won by two lengths. Time, 5.16.
