ANOTHER BONUS.
IMPROVED DAIRYING POSITION. *\ BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED." Chatting with Mr A. J. Sinclair, assistant manager of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, a Waipa Post representative was informed that it is hoped to pay out toward the end of October an addi- Jm tional bonus of ljd per lb in respect to butter-fat supplied during the period from Ist October to 30th April. This is practically the period of supply on which the last bonus was paid, and the announcement of this additional bonus will come as good news to the dairy suppliers. Explaining the position, Mr Sinclair said the company's suppliers were in the fortunate position of having made a conservative estimate of the value of their stocks when unsold supplies were taken into account at the balance date. When these stocks reached the market prices realised exceeded the estimated values shown on the books; hence it was possible to pay out a a further amount over and above the amount stated in the balance-sheet. It was expected that this bonus would be distributed toward the end of the present month.
