LICENSES TO BE ISSUED.

The Postmaster-General has givei. further information in regard to broadcasting by wireless. Licenses will be issued to 'amateurs to receive messages. They will he divided into two classes according to the degree of knowledge. The senior class will have more responsibility and will have to listen at stated intervals for Government instruction and warning. Special wave lengths will be allotted and there will be a legal penalty for infringements of any regulations'. As to sending, there wl:l also be two grades, according to the power used. Advertising matter will not be allowed. Sending may be done by manufacturers of equipment and their agents, by approved corporations, or individulals. Both for receiving and sending license fees will be charged.
