PLAGUE SERUM.
AUSTRALIA'S INVESTIGATION. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Bay. The Minister of Public Health sent to Australia recently for .more information about a serum which is said to ,be producing remarkable results in plague oases. The Australian authorities now state thft f So far twenty-two patients have &et% freated, of whom only four died. Of Lhe.«fi 'our, three did not get the usual chance. In the other cases it would appear that the serum had been effective.
The Minister of Health has* ordered further inquiries to be made.
