THIRD DISAGREEMENT.
TRIAL OF HAYNES ABORTIVE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This' Day. The second re-trial of James Reynold Haynes, a chemist, of Dunedin, on charges of manlsaughter and performing an illegal operation, resulted in the jury again disagreeing. Mr Justice Chapman said the matter of a new trial would stand over till the Minister of Justice or SolicitorGeneral determined whether a new trial would be held. Accused was released on his own recognisances of £SOO.
