FATAL MOTOR COLLISION.
MAORI COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. By Telegraph. Press Association. HAWERA, This Day. Early in April, when a car was proceeding to Opunake after a football tournament, the vehicle collided in the dark with a cart driven by a native named 'Hangimaha. One of the car’s occupants, named Thomas Duffy, was seriously inured, and died on l‘Bth April.
Yesterday, at Opunake, Hangimaha was charged with manslaughter, and committed for trial.
