WHARF GAMBLERS.
SUCCESSFUL POLICE RAID. DOZEN "HAZARDS" DEVOTEES CAUGHT. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. As the result of a raid made by *he police yesterday afternoon on-one of the wharves, twelve men were caught, and were before Mr Hunt, S.M., charge! with playing the game of chance .known as "hazards." Each pleaded not guilty, and w r as remanded until Tuesday.
