SUICIDE AT WAIHI. MAN'S HEAD BLOWN OFF. By Telegraph. Press Association. WAIHI, Friday. A shocking discovery w s made in an outhouse in Smith street, Waihi East, this morning, by Allen Walker, a telegraph messenger, who found the dead \&m' of Frederick Norris, a labourer|<?s years of age, with his head completely blown off. The body was fully dressed. A note written in pencil waaf found in deceased's tent addressed to the oerge'ant of police expressing his intention to commit suicide with gelignite, and starting "life was not worth living owing to domestic troubles."

Deceas/ed, who was stone deaf, had been separated from his wife by the Court, and had been sued for maintenance. He occupied a tent at the rear of his house, tenanted by Mrs Lawrence.
