“LURING LIPS.”
Edith Roberts, in “ Luring Lips,” a Universal action drama, will be the attraction at the Empire Theatre on Saturday. It is an intense story of a woman, who makes every known saclifice to secure her husband’s release from prison. A shortage of 50,000 dollars is discovered at the bank where her husband is employed. Justice is misapplied, and on the gossamer web of circumstantial evidence, Martin is given a term in prison. In a short time another man of wealth and position edged his way into her life. Adele Martin was human, and the one coveted treasure 'in her life was wealth and position. To all appearances her husband was a failure. What would 'the average woman do under like conditions? What have women. done under the same conditions.
