1 A TIMELY CAPTURE. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) - PALMERSTON N., Wednesday At the Police Court, George Birch, driver of a baker's motor van, was j. theft of benzine. Accused had stored his van and motor car in a local garage for the last six months. tities of benzine were missed, and yesterday accused was seen taking benzine from the tanks of cars in the garage. The police laid a trap, and early this morning accused was caught in the act of pumping benzine from two cars.
