WAIPA RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the management committee of the above Union was held in the Cosmopolitan Club Room last evening. Mr S. H. Dwen presided. A reply was received from Mr Odium agreeing to the suggestion that the junior cup be called the “ Odium Cup.’, An application for a transfer to the Pirongia Club was received from Mr Holmes, a member of the Te Awamutu Club. —It was decided to grant the transfer. The secretary of the Kihikihi Club'wrote asking for permission to register three players.—Request refused.

It was decided that Mr C. Macky be asked to referee in the junior match, Kihikihi v. Pirongia.

It was considered that the time was opportune for the selection of a representative team, and it was decided to ask each club to nominate seven players, to be dealt with by a selector.

The secretary was instructed to write to the Maniopoto and Hamilton Unions with regard to tlie annual representative fixtures.
