A discussion ensued in regard to the visit on the representative players toAucldand. Mr said the Ohaupo delegacies had been given to understand that both Pirongia and/Paterangi were opposed to thjP proposed visit. Ohaupo, he said,it, as they were if opinion that the Cup matches should be continued, and the visit to Auckland would delav the rounds being completed. They, however, were quite prepared to fall in with the majority. It was explained by the chairman that the Paterangi and Pirongia delegates were quite in favour of the sending of a team, and had submitted names of those players willing to go if selected. No objection was raised by them at the last meeting, when the proposal was discussed. It was unfortunate that they were not‘there that evening. It was agreed that Mr C.
