AVAIPAWA CLUB. The Stableford Bogey played by members of the AVaipawa Golf Club during the week-end resulted in a win for Watts with a score of 34, followed by Maekey with 31. Results are as follow: AA'atts 31 3 34 Maekey 13 18 31 French 12 18 30 Surridge 13 15 28 Rathhone 12 16 28 Maitland 19 9 27 Edwards 16 11 27 Nation 13 12 25 The semi-final draw for the F.M.T. Cup is as follows:—R. Knobloch plays AA’alker, AA r atts plays Surridge. Further elimination games for the championship rounds were played on Saturday with the following results : Senior. —Watts beat Witherow. Junior.—Mackey beat French, Paul Edwards beat Stewart, Rex Witherow heat Strang. A men’s four-ball is set down for Wednesday, commencing at 1.15 p.m. sharp. Following is the draw: — Bryant and Mitchell play Edwards and Yates. Tickner and Petersen play Shackelford and Dick. Rust and Carter play Clark and King. T. Hereock and Norris play T. Walker and C. Ilercock. Knobloch and Holt play J. Walker and Adams. In the senior elimination round of the championships, Bishop plays Dallas, and in the junior Dwight plays Surridge. Next week-end the club will play an inter-club match at Marakeke. The team will be announced in Friday’s issue.
