SWIMMING CERTIFICATES
OTANE SUCCESSES. The following Otane children gained certificates for swimming at the Napier baths on the day of the school excursion:— 220 yards—Joan Arnott, Ronald Thomas, Colin Thomas, Alice Wakeliu. 440 yards.—Alice AA r akelin. Learners’ certificates, 50 yards.— Beatrice Soares, Monica Johnson, Helen Scrimgeour, Noel Collins, Colin Page, Bernard Harbottle and Alan Foulds. , In addition 14 Otane pupils oi AA aipawa District High School gained certificates for varying distances.
