It is the inspired work i! a great star whose personal ambitiot is to make each production better than the last. In this Mr Arliss lit succeeded. He collaborated wilt Julian Josephson and Maude Howl on the script of this new picture, ani gave particular attention to the toll of Royale, the great pianist, playd by himself. According to pers« closely associated with Mr Arliss it the production of the picture, hi practically wrote the entire pari, whieh, in the opinion of those who have seen the film, presents him in i strikingly original and daring char acter. The picture has two leading feminine roles, enacted by Vidal Heming and Bette Davis. Book re, serves at Annand’s. Accompanying this great star picture is a fine programme of shorts. Coming Wednesday—“ Secrets of I Secretary,” featuring' Claudette Colbert. Action clieks faster than he typewriter.
