WAIPUKURAU SALE.

The associated auctioneers report having held their weekly sale at Waipukurau yesterday. There was a good yarding of both store and fat cattle, while there were only three pens of sheep offered. Prices were decidedly easier for cattle over last week’s rates, with the exception of fat bullocks, which realised £lB 15s. Prices were as follow:—Extra prime heavy bullocks £l6 10s to £lB ss. fat cow's £8 to £9 10s. fat heifers £8 10s to £l2 16s, extra heavy up to £l4 18s fid, f. and f. bullocks £ll l s to £ll 15s, P.A. yearling heifers £4 9 S , do. steers £5 17s, 2-year Hereford steers £fi 8s fid. There were many lots of cattle which were passed in.' Sheep: 1 pen of fat ewes 355, good wether hoggets 31s fid.
