AA T AIPAWA v. TAKAPAU. On Saturday afternoon a team representing the Waipawa Golf Club played a match with the Takapau Club on the latter’s links, which were in fine order. Owing to the Takapau Club playing the qualifying round of the junior championship, the visitors were matched against the senior players, and were therefore outclassed, with the result that Takapau won all nine games. Results;— F. Stubbs beat Lockhart. Heperi beat Shackelford. O’Dowd beat Clark. AV. H. Smith beat Collett. Caughley heat Critchley. G. Stubbs beat Edwards. ,T. Smith heat Strang. Hodges beat Walcott. S. Stubbs beat R. Witherow.
