RAILWAY DISASTER.
TWENTY-FOUR PERSONS KILLED. MANY OTHERS INJURED. (By Cable.—Press Assn.—Copyright) (Australian Press Assn.—United Service). (Received This day, 9.20 a.m.) VIENNA, September 11. There was a terrible collision at Ludenburg, where the. Berlin-Vicnna express, at a great speed, crashed into a goods train, which was on the wrong siding. There are twenty-four dead, including eight still under the wreckage. Eighty-three were injured and three are not expected to recover. M. Avereson, Rumanian statesman, had the narrowest escape. He left the wrecked car for the dining car a minute before the disaster.
