Soldier Visits “Own” Grave

When Mr T. G. Karahalas, a Boston merchant, who fought in the war with the American forces, paid a visit to the war graves in France recently, he found a wooden cross bearing his name erected near Belleau Wood.

Mr Karahalas fought in Belleau Wood in 1917, and was wounded. According to an army casualty list he was killed, and. hearing that a cross was standing to his memory, he went over to France to experience the sensation of reading his brief obituary.
