FOOTBALL.
The annual general meting of the Waipawa Foo.tball Club was held on Monday evening in the Council Chambers, there being a big attendance of members and intending members. The following officers for the ensuing year were elected:—Patron, Sir Geo. Hunter: president, Mr Mark Sebley; vice-presidents, Dr. Morgan, Dr. Maddison, Messrs G. Elford, D. McLean, W. Walker, F. Furminger, H. Collett, D. Scott, A. E. Jull, H. M. Rathbone, C. Clark, W. Roberts, C. Critchley, E. Maher, S. Strang, G. Martin, R, Wedde, J. Walker, D. McKay, A. McKay, A. King, L. Pratley, J. Shirley, W. Pellow, J. Winlove, J. Pickett, C. Harker, F. Polhill, E. Phillip, T. Hood, D. McKay, J. Morley, J. Pedler, H. D. Limbrick, Dr. South, D. Blackie, R. W. Bond, J. McClearv, R. Staines, J. Vaughan, G. Hunt, S. Turner, F. Eagle, J. W. Knobloch, J. Riddles, W. Yates, F. Tickner, F. Newham, McSAveeney; secretary and treasurer, A. Tate: club captain, W. Taylor. The following management committee was appointed:—Messrs Wedde. Nielsen, Maher, Hannan, the club captain and captain of first and second fifteen. Delegates, Messrs R. Wedde and R. Wynn. The meeting terminated with the general feeling that the club Avas out for victory this season.
