NEW NERVES
A famous specialist in Europe has devised a method of making nerves that have been severed grow together again. A leading medical journal, which gives an account of the process, states that it consists of filling animal arteries with a specially prepared gelatine, cutting away the scarred parts of the nerve and inserting its upper and lower ends in this artificial artery. The extremities td tho injured nerve will soon grow together again without difficulty, and it is possible to effect a complete cure iin this way in practically every case.
