FIRE IN NAPIER.
TIMELY DISCOVERY. (Own Correspondent). NAPIER, This day. The Fire Brigade were called out at about 10.15 last evening to suppress an outbreak in a double shop occupied by Alfred Newman, picture framer, and Adolf Fischer, photographer. The building was well alight when the brigade arrived, but about ten minutes sufficed to put an end to all danger. Considerable damage was done to the stock of both occupants. The former was insured for £3OO in the Guardian office, and the latter for £2OO in the same office. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
Why run the risk? Insure with the Norwich Union Fire Office. All classes of risks covered. —W. J. Pellow, Agent, Waipawa.*
