DECLARATION DAY.
PATRIOTIC RESOLUTION. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, This day. Early this afternoon a large public meeting in Cathedral Square carried a resolution of determination to continue the war. The principal speakers were the Mayor (Mr Holland), Bishop Julius, and Colonel Chaffey. Cheers were given for Admiral Beatty and Sir Douglas Haig.
