BRITISH SUBMARINES IN THE BALTIC. (Received This Day 9 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, May 12. Many German merchantmen, carrying guns and ammunition towards Libau, were escorted by destroyers and torpedo boats, as British submarines had appeared in certain parts of the Baltic.
