Fireman S. Rowe will represent Waipukurau Fire Brigade at Firemen’s Conference to be hell Woodville this month. Madame Carroll, representing Hugard Company, is at present town arranging for the appearand the company here on Tuesday i Wednesday next. Sergeant Tom Richardson, i recently returned from the front, at present in the Tikokino did, carying out the duties of a recruit officer for the Waipawa Cm Council. He sent in two signed el to-day. There was quite a large gathn of townspeople at the railway star yesterday morning to bid farewell Corporal T. Colquhoun and Gunns Peters, who have just completed l! final leave and were returning camp.
