A Curious Case.
(Received 10 46 a.m, To-day) LONDON, Maroh 4 Hugh Dalrymanle, an ex-convict, sued tfce Baroness von Goety, a wealthy philanthropist and organiser of a farm for disohirgel prisoners. Dalrymanle alleged he loaned the Baroness money and pro duoed scores of tbe Baroness’ letters, containing endearments. A sensational cross-examination by countel proved that Dalrymaule was convicted of frauds on women in 189 G. In order to explain discrepancies in tbe letters, Dalrymanle alleged that bis twin brother was responsible. Dalrymanle’s oouueel threw up hie brief. A verdict was returned for dafendant. The Judge impounded 100 Utters, whioh were obvious forgeries. Evidence was given that the Baroness had £40,000 in the bsuk at tbe time of tfce blackmailing
