Te Aute Sports.

The weather was dull on Saturday but rain did not fall until late in the Jay. There was a good attendance and the various events were well contested. The Te Aute Handicap was run in three events of 100yds, 220yds, and 440yds, and the prize offered the competitor aggregating the highest number of points in the three was won by A. R. Mclvor. The judges in the horse events were Messrs D. O’Meara and W, G Archibald, while Messrs A. H. Cato, H. M. Campbell, and D, Ellison judged the running competitions. Mr H. Neagle was starter and Mr W.
