Golf.
Yesterday afternoon a large company assembled at the golf links at Waldrom’s farm, and the weather permitted a very good mixed foursomes matoh, of nine holes, under sealed handioap to be successfully concluded, the three best cards handed in were : Miss Waldrom and Mr S. Waldrcm 60, hdop. 6—net 44. Mrs Limbriok and Dr Deok 45, sor.— net 45. Mrs Norris and Mr Norris 61, hdop. 9 —net 62. The two first pair received trophies presented by the olub, the third pair receiving a trophy presented by Miss Waldrom. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mesdames Ross and Limbrick, which all thoso present thoroughly appreciated. Members are reminded that the brake, on Saturday, leaves Pellow’s oorner at 1 30 sharp, return fare one shilling. A medal round of 18 holes will be played to establish handioaps for the seaeon for ladies and gentlemen. It ie hoped as many as possible will turn out.
