(Per Press Association) Opunake, This day Mr Holmes addressed -a meeting here on the flax industry. He was well received. A resolution was passed affirming the necessity of the appointment of an expert to investigate the fibre markets of tbe world, expressing confidence in Mr Holmes and urging tho Government to iucreaso tho grant in aid to £750. Tbe majority of those present subs-ribed.
