Racing Conference.

Wellington, This day The Racing Conference this morning decided to adjourn until the ordinary cou ference in November in Christchurch. The desirability of establishing a Now Zealand Jockey Club was affirmed, and tho question will be fully discussed at the November meeting. It was decided to request tbo Government that in reducing tho number of days of racing, as provided in Sir Robert Stout’s Bill, the ordinary racing clubs should not be bracketed with trotting clubs, and that tho former bo reduced only a third of the days raced by them in 1892, three delegates of the metropolitan and country clubs to discuss which meetings to abolish. It was resolved that a person may train and own a horse or a horse iu which ho is a partner, without paying tho provided ho receives no payment lor his services. The conference then closod.
