Norse wood School Committee.
The Committee met on Tuesday dossing. Present—Messrs Ericksen (chair) Thomsen, Magnussen, and Stenberg. ' The Headmaster reported that sinci last meeting the attendance had been fair, He recommended that the following die. grams be applied for :—Mauufactociei health and dresses, globes for each room and pictorial illustrations of geography and he hereby asked the Committee tt apply for these.
On the motion of Mr Ericksen, secondtd Mr Stenberg, the report Was adopted The Visiting Committee had nothing t» report.
An application by Mr A. Thomsen for £1 for removing nightsoil, was rotated. The Chairman said that the attend an« at the meeting was not full enough tg consider the matter of Mias Andersen) appointment as pbpil teacher, and tin matter would have to stand ovar for th present. The annual report of the Minister f« Education was received and laid on tb table. Messrs Thomsen and Magnussen wen appointed a visiting committee for th month. The Committee resolved to enfora attendance at school.
