The Council was to have met this morning, but as there was no quorum, the Finance Committee alone sat. Tenders were received for the erection of offices for the Council in Waipukurau, as follows : £ s. d. J. Slinrpin (accepted) ... 159 0 0 W. Maddison 178 10 0 It. Phillips 183 0 0 Bradshaw & Guam ... 18818 0 J. McConnochio... ... 222 0 0 Bryant & Worsnop ... 229 o 0 The lowest tender was accepted, on the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr W. A. Warren.
