Conditions. Entrance for the above events will close with the Secretary at Onga Onga, on the 18th of December, at 8 p.m. No entrance will be received, whatever, unless .actually accompanied with the necessary amount payable. Races run under the New Zealand Metropolitan Club’s “ Rules of Racing.” Three horses to start, or only half the advertised money will be given. All the races at this meeting are conlined to hacks only. Horses winning a race, and starting for another, will carry a penalty of 7lbs. Horses that have won over ,£lO in one stake will not be qualified to enter for Onga Onga District Hurdles, of 12 sovs ; Maiden Plate, of 10 sovs ; Onga Onga Cup, of 15 sovs ; and Onga Onga District Scurry Stakes, of 18 sovs. Horses that have won over £ls in one slake will not be qualified to enter for Onga Onga Hurdles, of 20 sovs ; Onga Onga Stakes, of 30 sovs. Protests must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race to which it refers, accompanied by a fee of £2.
